Mhood Design began as a visual design and branding studio and has since grown into a more expansive practice. This new direction involves design and creativity through written work, visual designs, and mentoring, along with informative lectures and speaking engagements. All of these experiences are designed around the goal of helping people think and improve holistically on personal and professional levels.
The higher level hope and goal of all of the work here is to promote thought, inspiration, betterment and connection no matter the medium in which the work and message is delivered.
This lecture consists of ideas and material based around the book “Go Get It”. This talk runs through the guidelines one by one and discusses ways individuals can begin implementing each of them into their lives, both personally and professionally.
The material and ideas are delivered in a light, but straight forward manner, and allows for audience interaction and conversation on the subject matter to further solidify and drive home the ideas and messages.

Beginning his working career in the construction industry at the age of 14, Matt carries that straight forward, blue collar work ethic and mindset into the creative work and processes for the studio. The first studio book “Go Get It” is focused around these ethics combined with philosophy, observations and other ideas designed to help the creative human being. Matt also runs lectures based off of the guidelines in the book, helping people to design their lives with deeper clarity and intent in personal and professional environments. He currently resides in Massachusetts while traveling, working, living and teaching the principals and ideas he writes about.
